Calculate the drift velocity if flow of current = 13, no. of electrons = 21, cross-section area of wire = 23, and charge of electron = 32


Given data:

I = 13

n = 21

A = 23

e = 32

Using the formula:

V = I /(n*Q*A)


Vd = 13 / 21*23*32

Vd = 13 / 15456

Vd = 0.0008410973

Example 2:

Calculate the drift velocity if flow of current = 41, no. of electrons = 32, cross-section area of wire = 14, and charge of electron = 25


Given data:

I = 41

n = 32

A = 14

e = 25

Using the formula:

V = I /(n*Q*A)


Vd = 41 / 32*14*25

Vd = 41 / 11200

Vd = 0.00366
